ABOUT YOUR PIECE
The Maison Alma Fans are entirely hand-woven by artisanal communities in Nariño, Colombia. Made from 'Palma de Iraca', artisans hand dye this natural fiber to create stunning shades of color - to intricately weave the patterns of these pieces. The hues are achieved through dying techniques with natural colorings and then dryied under the sun. The XXL pompoms that adorn the fan are also hand crafted by master pompon weavers from Bogota, Colombia.

Craftsmanship and sustainability are key values for Maison Alma. We work exclusively with Colombian weavers and artisans to preserve the ancient traditions that have helped these communities survive for centuries. This fan is hand woven with the ancient "Palma de Iraca" Weaving Technique, in Nariño- Colombia.
CARE GUIDE
This fan is hand woven, each detail makes it unique. - To better preserve the vivid colors, do not store exposed to sunlight. - If the pompoms are uneven or tangled, straighten with a wide-tooth comb. - Avoid contact with water, dry on a flat surface. -
